Hello! Welcome to Child Flyer, and this review will be about the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Heathrow. Onto the Review!
We arrived at Heathrow at around 8 AM. We then went into the huge Virgin Atlantic area that had a big sign on it. I then went to re-print my tickets, because the ones you print at home I felt were too small. Then we went up a lift to Upper Class security, and then we were off to the lounge in 5 minutes. The lounge is lounge H, and that’s kind of confusing, as all the signs just say letters. We eventually found the lounge and went in. The lounge was also huge, and we couldn’t find a place to sit at first, but then we found a little area where there were a few tables. We had about 4 and a half hours in the lounge to go. There were some really fun things called “Globe Chairs”, that were like swinging chairs. I think that BA’s orange juice is better, but Virgin Atlantic’s isn’t bad. The service was a bit slow, but they were nice when they did come. The lounge even appeared to have a hair-dresser. I had a fruit salad for breakfast which was good. The next 2 hours was pretty boring. We got 1500 Chinese Yuan, and went to some shops. After that we went back to the lounge, and they gave me ice cream 20 minutes early (it’s only meant to be available at midday). The options were Chocolate, Vanilla or Caramel, at least for children. One thing about the staff, they let us in lots of times after we went out. They just need your boarding pass once, and then they remember you. The views aren’t good at all, as there’s only two windows where you can see the planes, and you can only see about four planes. Otherwise, I think this lounge is a great lounge, especially for business class. The only thing about the lounge was it was crowded. The lounge is about a 9/10 for me. Bye!!!
